FROM BROKEN TO BLESSED
The raw and real story of how God took a homeless addict and turned him into a kingdom entrepreneur.

WHO I AM TODAY
“I’m Trey Carver — entrepreneur, music producer, mentor, father, and survivor. I rebuilt my life from the lowest point a man can reach, and today my mission is simple: help people rise.”
The Early Years
My childhood wasn't childhood. It was chaos. Growing up in an abusive environment with multiple stepdads, instability was the only constant I knew.
I learned survival before I learned algebra. The pain of those years taught me how to endure, but it also planted seeds of turmoil that would grow for years to come.
Trauma That Shaped Me
Trauma isn't just what happens to you; it's what you carry. I witnessed things no kid should see. I watched a school shooting unfold with a friend as the shooter. I saw a man get shot in front of me.
I experienced homelessness early on. I learned to be invisible, to carry the weight silently, pushing it down until it had nowhere else to go but out.
The Loss That Broke Me
“My daughter passed away, and my world collapsed. I lost myself, my direction, and my will. This pain changed everything.”
There is no pain like the loss of a child. It stripped away every defense mechanism I had. I was raw, exposed, and completely broken.
Falling Into Darkness
To numb the pain, I ran. I fell into a year-long spiral of meth addiction. It wasn't about getting high; it was about checking out.
For one year, I lived in pure darkness. Numbness. Hopelessness. Survival mode. I was a shell of a man, convinced I was too far gone to ever come back.
My Miracle Moment
Then came the moment that defies logic. I prayed. It wasn't a fancy prayer, just a desperate cry from the bottom of the pit.
God delivered me instantly. No withdrawals. No rehab. The shame and fear lifted in a second. I felt protected, like a switch had been flipped. It was a spiritual awakening that saved my life when nothing else could.
The Rise
Rebirth isn't pretty; it's hard work. I went from homeless to finding purpose. My dad drove all the way from SC to rescue the family, giving me the lifeline I needed.
I found responsibility again. I've been sober for over 10 years now. I rebuilt my life from absolute zero—not just financially, but spiritually and mentally.
A New Chapter
Life has a way of continuing to test you even after you've already proven what you're made of. While I was building businesses, producing music, and pouring into artists, one of the most defining moments of my life arrived without warning.
"My young daughter suffered a severe brain injury and was hospitalized for an extended period of time. The world stopped."
I spent months at her bedside. Praying. Learning. Watching. Hoping. There were moments of terror and moments of unexplainable peace. I witnessed miracles — some dramatic, some quiet — that no doctor could fully explain.
During that season, I refused to shut down completely. I kept creating music. I kept showing up for artists who needed me. I kept supporting my family. Not because I had it all together, but because forward movement was the only thing I knew how to offer.
That chapter is not fully closed, but it deepened me in ways I could never have anticipated.
Faith, Family, and Purpose
What that season confirmed is what I already believed but now know in my bones: faith, family, perseverance, and service to others are the only things that truly anchor a man when everything else is shaking.
My Christian faith is not a performance. It's not a platform. It's the quiet engine behind every decision I make and every challenge I face. I've seen God move in situations where logic said there was no way out.
My work is no longer just about building businesses or creating music. It's about leaving something behind for my children. It's about showing them — and anyone watching — that you can face the worst and still choose to become better because of it. Every beat I make, every artist I mentor, every word I speak is part of a legacy I'm intentionally building.
Still Building
Today I continue producing music under the name Treykus, working with artists across many different backgrounds, genres, and creative visions. From trap to country, R&B to rock — I don't fit in one box, and I don't ask the artists I work with to either.
I've helped artists develop songs from scratch, produce full records, and bring ideas to life that they once thought were impossible. I've worked to bridge the gap between emerging technologies and traditional music production, helping artists stay ahead without losing their authenticity.
I remain passionate about creativity, entrepreneurship, and helping others succeed — not because it's a brand, but because it's genuinely who I am.
"My story is still being written. Through victories, setbacks, successes, and challenges, I've learned that purpose is often found in the struggles we never expected to face. No matter what comes next, I plan to keep building, keep creating, keep believing, and keep moving forward."
